In the Osan Factory since its establishment in December, 1998 and in the Gyoungjoo Factory |

establishment in February, 1997, which has safe and pleasant working environment for workers and realizes |
| |
a factory and realizes a factory of respect to human beings will be an advanced world-level factory which |
| |
considers environment-friendly matters together with the improvement of competitive power of products such |
| |
as quality, price, performance and the like. |

In the beginning of 2007, we have closed Osan Factory down and have finished remodeling and expansion of |
| |
Gyoungjoo Factory which 5.0 million batteries are produced in a year. Automation facilities were constructed |
| |
in all processes and the logistics system was introduced in this Factory to make a new beginning of the |
| |
battery process as the best automated Korean factory. |
| |

The products produced by the spirit of a craftsman and the advanced equipment are recognized with |
| |
respect to the best quality. The Gyoungjoo Factory considering human beings and the environment ahead |
| |
of making batteries to create pleasant working environment presents a new direction to the Korean battery |
| |
industry. |

The R&D Center located in this factory implements organic connection of product development and |
| |
production. The R&D Center secures independent technical power by consolidating the research |
| |
organization centered on basic research on new alloy and development of new products, along with the |
| |
construction of the independent R&D Center building. |
| |

The industrial no-repair sealed lead acid battery which satisfied the needs of customers is the result |
| |
of design standardization and the development of process technology for keeping best performance |
| |
and optimum cost of the product. The research for securing technical power to start the age of unattended |
| |
operation and management is being continued. |

The R&D Center is participating in the development of electric vehicles which are the dream cars for |
| |
contributing to human beings and the nature, that is one of G-7 projects promoted by the Koran |
| |
government, and also continues the basic research in the pilot factory, the electric cell laboratory, |
| |
the chemical analysis laboratory and the electrochemical laboratory currently in operation to contribute to |
| |
creation of future energy for overcoming the limit of technical power. |
